Chandrayaan-3 successfully lands on the Moon, with ISRO announcing, “India, I’ve reached my destination, and you have too!”

In a significant achievement for India’s space and technology capabilities, Chandrayaan-3 has successfully executed a landing near the Moon’s south pole. This previously unexplored region, believed to house valuable frozen water and essential elements, witnessed a historic moment as a lander carrying a rover touched down at 6:04 AM local time. The event was met with cheers and applause from the watching space scientists in Bengaluru. After a previous unsuccessful attempt, India has now made history by becoming the fourth nation, alongside the United States, the Soviet Union, and China, to achieve a successful Moon landing, marking a noteworthy milestone in space exploration.
