UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak asserts that India is the ideal nation to assume the G20 Presidency.

Sunak stated, “Our collaboration with India during its G20 Presidency will be strong as we tackle the world’s most significant challenges together.”

On December 1, 2022, India took over the G20 presidency.

Approximately 200 meetings within various tracks of the group are scheduled to take place nationwide, culminating in the Summit on September 9-10.

The UK High Commissioner in India, Alex Ellis, has conveyed that British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak eagerly anticipates his participation in the G20 Summit scheduled for September in New Delhi.
