13-inch MacBook Pro: A Farewell to the Past
The 13-inch MacBook Pro has been discontinued, marking the end of the Touch Bar era. While the base M2 model is no longer in production, you can still find remaining stock at select retailers. Additionally, Apple’s Certified Refurbished store offers a range of refurbished models for those interested.
M3 MacBook Pro: Design and Features
The design of the M3 MacBook Pro remains largely unchanged from the M2 models, except for a notable addition: the M3 Pro and M3 Max variants are now available in a sleek Space Black color, alongside the classic Silver. The base M3 14-inch model offers a choice of Space Grey and Silver.
The display sees a minor improvement with SDR brightness increased to 600 nits, up from the previous 500 nits.
In terms of other features, there’s little deviation from the M2 generation. Battery life, size, weight, camera, microphones, speakers, ports, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth remain consistent with the MacBook Pro with M2.
