Possible Inclusion of Exynos SoC for European Samsung Galaxy S24 Series; Galaxy S24 Ultra Storage Variants Leak

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is set to feature the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra models.

The forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series will build upon this year’s Galaxy S23 series.

Reportedly slated for an early next year launch, Samsung is gearing up to unveil the successor to the Galaxy S23 series. Despite the debut still being several months away, a slew of rumors and leaks have already surfaced, shedding light on the anticipated specifications and features of the purported Galaxy S24 lineup. Expected to consist of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra models, the series is making headlines once again as details about processors and storage options have emerged online.

According to a new leak from renowned tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the European version of the Galaxy S24 series is poised to feature the Exynos 2400 SoC, equipped with cores operating at clock speeds of 3.16GHz, 2.9GHz, 2.6GHz, and 1.95GHz. Further revelations from the tipster include specifics about the smartphones themselves. The Galaxy S24+ is rumored to sport a WQHD+ display boasting a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels. Notably, all three models are anticipated to deliver a peak brightness of 2,500 nits.

The same tipster has also shared sneak peeks of the S24+ renders, showcasing a hole-punch cutout at the center-top of the screen. The combined thickness of the handset’s bezel and middle frame is projected to be around 2.5mm, with the bezel itself measuring 1.5mm in thickness. As for dimensions, the phone is rumored to weigh 195g and have a thickness of 7.7mm.

Adding to the leaks, tipster Revegnus (@Tech_Reve) revealed the storage options for the Galaxy S24 Ultra on X. This flagship model is expected to offer a whopping 2TB of storage, along with RAM and storage configurations of 12GB + 256GB and 8GB + 128GB.

In previous reports, it was suggested that the US variant of the Galaxy S24 series might feature Snapdragon chips. A Geekbench listing had indicated the use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship SoC.
